Alma is for the the quickest lap times and the steepest climbs. Alma is for the strongest accelerations and highest altitudes. Alma is for the biggest stages, the loudest fans, and the toughest riders. Alma is for the fiercest competitors, the athletes who accept nothing less than superlatives.
Refinements of Alma’s World Cup Geometry reflect the evolution of elite racing, like a slacker head angle (69.3º/69.5º) that provides stability on increasingly demanding tracks. A steeper seat angle and lower stack height increase handling precision and pedaling efficiency, and shorter (420/430mm) chainstays deliver maximum agility without instability. Orbea also engineered a natural flex point into the top tube by adding a fourth bend. This minimizes the effects of cornering stress and terrain impacts on traction and stability, resulting in an efficient, smooth, controlled ride that feels like floating over rough terrain.
And, instead of trying to squeeze everybody onto a single wheel size, Orbea offers Big Wheels Concept (BWC), which results in four frame sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large frames with 29-inch wheels.
- Orbea Alma Hydro Boost141 Triple Butted aluminum frame
- RockShox 30 Silver TK Crown adjust QR Solo Air 100 suspension fork
- Orbea Black Rock 23c Disc wheelset
- 11-speed Shimano SLX components
- Shimano hydraulic disc brakes

MASTER OF FUN
Laufey is our most clever and versatile bike. Instead of saying that Laufey is tailored for one type of rider, we're going to go ahead and claim this fun-loving machine is perfect for everyone. Laufey is omnipotent: it's a slack, simple trail bike that relishes new terrain. Laufey may be someone's first bike or their latest bike. It's inexpensive and attainable, and it's a niche bike that feels at home in even the most exclusive bike collection. It's for first-timers and expert shredders. Ride it in Lycra, shred it in jeans. Laufey is a jack-of-all-trades and master of fun with 29" wheels and a 140mm fork.
Maximum Capability and Speed
- For long, fast rides over varied terrain with the greatest versatility, 29" is the clear choice for Laufey.
- Wide 2.6" tires offer a bigger contact patch, which means more grip. More knobs are digging into the ground at any one time, increasing cornering and braking traction.
Trail Geometry
- Slacker head angle—great stability
- Lower bottom bracket—corners naturally
- Longer cockpit—room to move while maintaining balance
- Longer wheelbase—stability at high speeds
- Steep seat angle—proper pedaling position
- Short seat tube—for long dropper posts
Hydroformed
- We manipulate the shapes and wall-thickness of our aluminum tubing to increase strength and resistance to unwanted flex. Many of the tubes are butted to save weight in the middle of the tubes, away from the stress of the joints and the weld zones.
- Using aluminum technologies as advanced as our carbon manufacturing ensures our aluminum bikes are never second-best.
Reliability
- Laufey is designed to see a lot of action. While keeping the frame light, we aimed for the added durability required for a bike that will be ridden hard. Butted and hydroformed tubing ensures the burliness is where it's needed.
Forged Yoke
- To allow maximum tire clearance and offer great rigidity we created a proprietary chainstay yoke that is forged and then CNC finished to exact specs.
- It's not a new technology, but it's costly and we felt that a great solution was right for Laufey.

Alma’s World Cup Geometry is born from years of designing world-class XC bikes. The position is aggressive, comfortable and fast. Unlike trail geometry that sacrifices some precison for endurance, XC geometry is precise and intuitive for maximum power transfer. Angles and dimensions are considered carefully across a range of sizes, maximizing power by increasing efficiency.

Thanks to the continuous collaboration of our engineers and Team Bulls, the expression "less is better" has acquired new importance in the fully revised frame of the Bushmaster SL 29. Weighing only 19.62 pounds, this carbon hardtail turns pedaling energy into merciless thrust thanks to the reinforced drivetrain area. A shortened seat tube, slim seatstays, and a flatter top tube ensure maximum comfort.
On increasingly technical marathon and cross-country routes, the Bushmaster's extended top tube and a shorter wheelbase add control and agility, especially on downhill runs. On climbs, the steeper seat angle provides the climbing capabilities Bulls are known for. Handling perfection is offered by the slightly shortened head tube in the "racing trim".
Thanks to integrated cable routing through the head tube, Bulls engineers have tidied up the cockpit of the Bushmaster SL 29 again. Compatibility with all mechanical and electronic groupsets make this BULLS an impeccable machine for the refined racer.
